HOW TO START WINDOWS 8 IN SAFE MADE

For some of new to windows 8 we may notice that starting windows 8 is not as possible as it was with the earlier versions of windows.
Windows 8 monitors the startup procedure and when problems are detected it automatically takes you to the new Recovery Mode. At this point you will be presented with the message: ‘Recovery. It looks like Windows didn't load correctly'.
Select the advanced repair options and choose Troubleshoot, Advanced options, ‘Windows Startup Settings', Restart. Your computer will boot into an ‘Advanced Boot Options' screen in which Safe mode can be selected.
If your computer loads normally, and you still want to start it on safe mode, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Start screen and type msconfig. Launch System Configuration from the list of search results, then select its Boot tab. On this screen ,you can check a box to enable Safe boot, with various different types of Safe mode available below. Click Ok, then click Restart to boot your computer into Safe mode.
2.   There is a much easier way, however. If you are at the Windows 8 login screen, simply choose Restart and hold down the Shift key. You will arrive at the windows with options to troubleshoot your system from which you can select to boot in Safe Mode. 
3. If you have a problem with their PC and you are already logged in and can see only a black screen, hit CTRL, ALT, DEL to bring up the selection screen, and choose logout, restart. Then hold down the Shift key and you will be taken to the window via which you can choose Safe Mode.

HOW TO TAKE SCREENSHORT WITH YOUR COMPUTER

If you are new to computers, you may ask "What's a Screenshot?" That's when you take a picture of whatever is on your computer screen. Sometimes you need to take a picture to report a problem to your ISP, and they're asking you for a Screenshot; or sometimes you just want to take a picture of a Website.
Here are the instructions to take a Screenshot using your laptop. With some laptops you are able to use the ctrl + insert/prt sc keys. Or you can also use shift + insert/prs sc keys, some laptop use the fn key.

These are the steps to follow to take a Screenshot using the fn key:

1. Press and hold the fn key (located to the left of your spacebar) and then press the insert/prt sc key (usually just above the backspace key.)  Your screenshot will be automatically saved to your computer's clipboard.
2. Press the Start key on your laptop, or just click on Start. When the Start menu opens up, type Paint in the search box. If you are using windows8, go to search and type Paint.When Paint comes up, click on it. This will open a Paint window for you.
3. Go to Edit on the top bar and select Paste. On windows8 there is no need for edit, at the top left corner of the Paint window, you will see Paste, click on it and your content will be pasted on the empty page. You can also use this code to paste:Crtl+V.
4. Click on the save icon at the Top right corner of the paint window and a small window will appear where you can give it any name you desire. Next, click on the red X at the top right corner of the paint window to close the Paint window. Your screenshot will be saved to pictures by default.

Hello, Have you been in as situation in which you desperately need to transfer airtime to another line,and you just cant remember the code for it...It has happened to me before and I had to call their customer care just to find that out(imagine the time it took before they answered. After that experience, I decided to do a little research on airtime transfer on all network in nigeria vis-a vis: MTN, GLO, ETISALAT and AIRTEL. hope this will be helpful to you MTN AIRTIME(CREDIT)TRANSFER MTN transfer is called Share&sell.Before you can start a transfer using MTN, you will need to create a secret pin. This secret pin must be known to you alone, and the pin must be four digit numbers. any third party access to your pin can result in unauthorized transfer of your airtime(credit) How to Change Your Transfer Pin from Default You will need to change your transfer pin from default to a memorable number. The default pin is 0000. You can change your pin via USSD or SMS. How to change your pin via SMS Send the following command as SMS: 0000 new pin new pin again send the text to 777. EX: 0000 1234 1234 send to 777 The 0000 in the command signifies your default pin, The 1234 in the command signifies your new pin, The repeated 1234 in the command signifies new pin confirmation. You can change the 1234 in the code above to any code that suits you. If entered correctly, you will receive a message that your pin has been successfully changed. How to change your pin via USSD To change your transfer pin via USSD, dial *601* dold PIN* New PIN* New PIN# then press the send button. For example, if you want to change your pin from default to 1234, you will dial *601*0000*1234*1234#. If entered correctly, you will receive a message that your pin has been changed successfully.

To send airtime(credit) type in a text: Transfer phone no you are sending airtime to amount your pin. send to 777. EX: Transfer 08061234567 50 1234. N.B minimum amount transferrable is #50.

How to Change or Create Glo Me2u Transfer Pin To change/create your Glo ME2U transfer pin, dial *132*00000*New Pin* New Pin# then send. Your new pin must be 4 digits number. If you want to transfer credit from one glo sim to another, dial *131*recipients phone number*Amount*Pin# then send. It should look like *131*7053627819*100*1234#. The recipient phone number must start for 8 for 080 numbers and 7 for 070 numbers. Immediately you send the command, you will receive a message back from the network telling you to confirm by pressing 1 and press 2 to cancel. ETISALAT AIRTIME (CREDIT TRANSFER) To transfer credit form your etisalt sim to another Dail: *223*Pin*Amount*Phone Number#. EX: *223*0000*08091234567# Another means to transfer credit from etisalat is to locate the etisalt service menu in your menu list. Once it is located, click on Balance transfer and after that a security code box will appear requesting for your pin. The default pin is 0000 and afterward you will be required to enter the amount you wish to transfer. You can also change your default pin from the service menu. You must have a minimum of #10 balance on your phone before it can work. AIRTEL AIRTIME (CREDIT) TRANSFER To transfer credit on airtel you will be charged #10 per transaction. To transfer credit form one airtel sim to another, you need to enter the command shown below. 2U (space) Recipient's phone number (space) Amount (space) Pin. This will be send as message to 432. Ex: 2U 08128902673 100 1234 to 432 To change airtel transfer pin, send the command below as SMS to 432 Pin Old Pin New Pin. For example, it will look like Pin 1234 9090. Airtel default pin is 1234.
